This piece just about defines the state of cocktail-party jewelry from the early 1960s, from the smoked topaz color to the oversized center stone. The center stone is an open-backed, unfoiled rhinestone, round cut, and it is surrounded by a circle of clear, fancy cut stones. The large size of the rhinestones and their open backs result in an interesting play of colors as the pick up whatever colors are around or behind them. The pin is about 2" across, and the matching earrings are 1" across. This retro demi-parure is in very good condition.
Offering antique and vintage jewelry, ladies' accessories, and a variety of vintage items.
