This is just an awesome mid-century coat, probably c. 1960. What's really nice about this item is that it has full length sleeves instead of the 3/4 sleeves common in that era, making it very easy to wear today. It is solid black wool with a wide brown mink collar. It has a button and loop closure with about a 4" overlap when closed. The button is fabric covered. There is meant to be an inside button to complete the closure but it is missing. There are some nice little decorative details such as the single oversized button in the back center and the slit pockets on the front. It also has a small interior pocket. The lining is black fabric.
This coat is in excellent condition other than the missing interior button. The label reads "Angelo's Doesana" and "Loomed exclusively for Zelinka Matlick, New York - London- Paris".
This coat is about a size 10 - 12. Approximate measurements: Shoulders 16" Sleeves 21" Length 37"
Item ID: 120340
