Rare Eisenberg Wool Dress

This wonderful item is the rarer part of the equation...an original Eisenberg dress - and it is in superb, wearable condition.

It is beautifully designed - quite stylish. The dress is wool and has a very tailored fit with darts in the bust and princess seams. The arms are also very fitted, ending in pointed cuffs that are narrow - there are sippers in each cuff so the sleeves can fit over the hands. The color is kind of olive green, maybe a bit more toward yellow. The pin shown in the picture is added to show how it might have been worn originally - it is sold separately.

The tag in the dress reads "S. Eisenberg, California", and it has a stamp that reads "100% wool exclusive of lining". The sleeves are not lined. As shown in the pictures, the lining does have some flaws - it needs to be restitched at the arm holes, and it is torn along the vent in the back of the skirt. The exterior of the dress is in wonderful conditions without tears, holes, or stains.
