Alfred Phillippe Trifari Grapes Necklace

Grandma really fell in love with this necklace the minute she picked it up thanks to the flowing lines and free movement of the piece. It is absolutely stunning, and in superb condition. It is designed after a cluster of grapes, with the bunch being crafted in dangling oval clear rhinestones. The stones are prong set in silver tone settings. The rhinestone grapes are capped with a polished silver tone bow. The decorative centerpiece is suspended from a snake chain and secures with a fold over clasp. It measures about 15" length. The bow is about 2" across and the grapes dangle about 2" from the bow design.

This design was patented by Alfred Philippe on Dec. 5, 1950, pat no 161124. I is marked "TRIFARI" with a crown and "PAT. PEND" on the clasp.
