Unusual Dress Clip and Earrings Set
Grandma was just thrilled to find this very special little set from the 1940s. It pairs dress clips with screw back earrings - a combination rarely seen. The color is great - bright citrine colored rhinestones set in gold tone, accented with a scalloped edge that is finished with shiny black enamel. The clips each measure about 1 3/4" long; the matching earrings are about 3/4" across. Although the gold tone finish is a bit worn on the back of the clips, these look fantastic from the front.

Grandma also has a hint on how to make these clips even more versatile...they can be easily converted to wear like a pin by putting a good sized safety pin through the back of the blouse...and hooking the clip over the bar of the safety pin.
