Tenggren's Pirates, Ships, and Sailors Large Golden Book
I am offering this 1971 edition of the original 1950 Large Golden book of "Tenggren's Pirates, Ships, and Sailors". There is 26 poems and stories written by Kathryn and Bryon Jackson with wonderful illustrations done by Gustaf Tenggren. Some of the stories include: Pirates Cove, Stowaway Judy, The Wonderful Bottle, Storm at Sea, Orders is Orders, Seafaring Tommy, Rainy Day Sailboat, and many more. I have to admit that I haven't come across this special Golden Book before, therefore even though the book has some cover damage, I wanted to purchase this hard to find copy.
The pages are in very good condition but the covers and edges have some damage. This is a fun book to share or replace a copy.
