Scarce 1942 "Santa Claus Comes To America" Children Book

I am offering a very rare first edition children picture book called: "Santa Claus Comes To America". This book was written and illustrated in 1942 by Caroline Singer and Cyrus Leray Baldridge. Published by Alfred A Knope in New York. I have only seen two copies on the internet and not seen any in the public sector. This book is a history of how Saint Nicolas became Santa Claus in America. Wonderfully illustrated, this copy has it's original dust cover. The dust cover does have some light damage and the book has an 1942 inscription, (please see pictures). There is no tearing of the pages inside the book, but a couple of the pages have some smudges and the book has very slight edge wear. This book is a fun copy of the history of Santa Claus which can be fun to read to the young and old. I will be glad to email more pictures if any customer would like.
