Vintage 1930s Chalkware Mr. & Mrs. Chalkware Head Plagues
For your consideration is a darling 1930s Mr. & Mrs. Chalkware Head Plagues. They are just precious!! He has his black top hat & one eye spectacle on & she has her finest off-white feather design hat on & her eyelashes are long & lovely! (I believe they may have once had metal hangers on the bottom of their chins for hanging hotpads on. However, they have been cut off to just display the heads as plagues only!) This does not take away from their displaying well, because they are so precious & the paint is in excellent vintage condition, which overall they are too with just some light crazing. Only very light paint flaking & hardly noticeable! Dimensions are approx.: 5 1/2"L. (I have never seen these cuties before, but if they don't go quickly, I just may keep them!) Unmarked!
