For your consideration is a lovely 1950's needlepoint box purse with a lovely green cloverleaf design encircling it. The design is all done in a medium colored green on a off-white background. However, you will find on each side at least one or two dark green clover leaves. The top & bottom are both in the off-white needlepoint with no design. The top has a clear lucite handle about 3 1/2"T X 4 3/4"L. The bottom has 4 round brass feet. The clasp is tight & in working condition. Inside is a Paisley design in dark blue & red with a gold tone colored background. There is one pocket on the inside. The purse has a lovely brass or gold tone metal trim encircling the top & bottom of both the lid & the purse, itself. These needlepoint purses were a fun hobby & very popular with the women of that decade, 1950's! In very good & older condition. There is a little, approx. 1/4"Rd red mark on one outside corner, which isn't that bad & only mentioned for accuracy! Unmarked! Handmade! Approx.: 5 1/4"T X 8"L X 4"W. (Not including handle! Measurements in description!)
