Dutch Boy & Girl Embossed Greetings Postcard
For your consideration is a darling vintage postcard displaying a young Dutch Boy & girl. He is holding a basket of fruit behind his back & she is standing there very coy & sweet holding her small bouquet of flowers. It reads on the front: "I vunder if she vould schmile at me so schweet if I gif her somding nice." There is writing on the back & a 1 cent stamp. However, the card was never mailed, thus no black postal stamp. The card was used as a party invitation. It is marked with the series no. 67 D on it on the back & on the front it has the letters: J.E.P. Copyright (James E. Pitt) The postcard is in excellent vintage condition. Very minor scuffed corners, which is hardly noticeable! No stains, creases or tears noted! Dimensions are approx.: 3 1/2"W X 5 1/2"L.
