This sweet little chap book consists of 8 pages printed on 1 side only, the first and last glued onto the inside of the wrappers as issued originally, each page has a large brightly hand colored illustration with Rhyming verses below.

The Chap book is in VG+ condition - original cloth spine , all pages present , Hand colored illustrations overall bright . PO has written on one of the blank pages the poem Old Mother Hubbart using a fountain pen which would be in line for the age. This sweet addition just adds to the wonderful quaintness of the book

On the back of the booklet there is a list of Fairy tales & Ditties which were also published at the same time - such as Little Red Riding hood , The House that Jack Built, Puss and Boots and many more.
