Vintage Art Deco Black Leather Purse With Marcasite Clasp

Here is a very pretty black leather Art Deco purse with a beautiful stand out marcasite clasp. Made in the 1920s it is in very good condition. The leather is amazing, it is so soft, smooth with out any tears or holes. It has fabulous pleating at the bottom which is smooth leather Petite 1/2 inch wide and 3 1/2 inch drop leather handle, intact. The silver tone metal frame is a matte color with wear inside at two corners. The marcasite loaded half more shaped clasp is so deco. It has 11 rows of stones and set on it's own piece of silver metal. The stones glisten and look great and this piece has the most silver wear. Push back the clasp and the inside has black silk faille with a swinging coin purse in the middle and an open pocket on the side, probably for a mirror. There are no marks, stains, odors or tears. Looks unused. This purse can be used. Measurements are 9 1/2 inches wide and 5 inches tall and 1 inch deep.
