Vintage Antique Black Leather Purse

Here is a fabulous antique black leather purse, it is from the early 1900s, Edwardian, for a middle class woman, and it is in very good condition. The straps are great, the button closure works like new, the silver metal frame looks like sterling (it isn't) but it shines, nice pleats when you open the bag, open a clasp to to a grey silk lining with a swinging middle coin purse with felt inside to keep your coins clean and a side open pocket. There is some fraying where the purse crease is at the top inside. Oh, there is a pocket on the back. The left side has come un-stitched but this is not noticeable. Measurement are 7 1/2 inches wide and 5 inches tall and the handle has a 5 inches.

I am listing some of my antique leather bags. I think that they have as much beauty and history as the more collectible and ornate styles.
