Lovely Large Store Counter Tea Bin, Oriental Tole

This tea tin or bin is huge. It measures 19 1/2" x 14" x 13". There is a lift up lid with porcelain knob. The hinges are probably replacements. The front and lid are decorated in a Oriental design with a lady on the front. The lady is in formal dress with headdress and fan. The word Japan is on the front. There are no other advertising marks. This early tin has oxidation and paint loss. Nevertheless the gorgeous design makes it a great decorator piece.
