Lovely Lithographed Handkerchief Folder, Aesthetic Design

Circa 1900 simple items were often treated so elegantly. This folder for giving a handkerchief to a lady is is so lovely. The word Handkerchiefs and the framing is gold. There is a bouquet of blue forget-me-knots. A gorgeous butterfly. This is from the age of gentility. The inside has a Christmas gift tag. The front cover is in good condition except for some wear to the corners. The inside and the back are very ragged. It measures 11" on a side.
