This group figure is pictured in Harding's "Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875 Book Three" on page 191. The figure pictured in the reference book the figure is shorter, only 6" tall. This figure measures 9 1/2" tall. The colors on this figure are outstanding. The figure has the two women with head scarves, blouses, and aproned skirts. The basket is at their side. side. The front of the figure is in excellent condition. The back has a rather large crack that goes into the base. It appears to be quite stable. This is a nice early colorful figure.
