This rectangular British biscuit tin measures 8 1/8" x 10 1/2" x 1 3/4". The lid fits tightly and lifts off. The decoration on the lid of the tin is a rural scene with a farrier shoeing a donkey while 3 children and 2 more donkeys look on. The dress is early 20th century riding clothes. There is a foil label with Huntley & Palmers Assorted Biscuits. The ends of the tin are marked Made in England. One end of the lid has By Courtesy of the News of the World H. B. & S. Ltd. Reading England. The bottom of the tin is also marked Huntley & Palmers. All 4 sides of the tin have rural landscapes. The tin has bright color, but does show wear on the edges. There are some shallow dents as well.
