Lovely Larger Than Usual Black Papier Mache Box, Abalone Inlay

This papier mache snuff box is larger than most measuring 4" x 2 1/2" x 1". The lid fits very tightly and flips up. The lid is decorated with abalone shell frame around it. The center has an inlay design of metal, appears to be pewter. The snuff box is in very good condition.
