This Sugar canister is not marked. According to Reference Book, "Bluebird China" by Kenna & Bob Rosen, this type canister was made by the A.E. Hull Pottery Company in the 1920's. This blue bird decal is not seen as often as others and is referred to as MIGRATING BLUEBIRDS IN WINTER. What also is most unusual is that this canister is in such excellent condition. Crazing, chips, and hairlines are often seen. This has none of these. The manufacturing is a bit rough as you can see imperfections under the glaze. The square canister measures 9" tall including the lid and 4 1/2" on a side. I don't often come across this pattern, especially one in this good of condition.
