Lovely 19th C. Overlapping Begonia Leaf Pedestal Bowl

This majolica bowl has a pedestal base. It measures 9 3/4" in diameter. It stands 3 1/2" tall. Begonia leaves are popular in early majolica pieces. This one is yellow, green, brown, and pink. The bottom is mottled color. There is a hairline from the rim_ very tight and stable. There is another line (more of a crazing line) also from the rim. There is a chip on the base. The line on the base is not a crack but a manufacturing line. This is a lovely piece of majolica.
