Early American Pressed Glass Spooner, BARBERRY

This tall pedestal glass measures 7 1/4" tall. The glass is a spooner. Barberry was made originally by The Boston & Sandwich Glass Co, circa 1850-60's. In the 1880's this pattern was made by McKee & Brothers. The provenance that I acquired with this piece states as follows: "About 1865 my grandfather bought my grandmother a set of glass ware. Through the years I have added pieces." Whether this is an 1865 piece or an 1880 piece, I do not know. There are no chips or cracks. There are bubbles in the glass and mould lines characteristic of pressed glass. I will be listing several pieces of this glassware.
