Large 19th Century Pewter Teapot (Coffee Pot) Shaw & Fisher Sheffield

This 6 cup coffee pot measures 10 1/2" tall. The ebonized wood handle is quite ornate as well as the curved spout. I believe this to be pewter, but it may actually be Britannia metal. The bottom of the pot is marked Shaw & Fisher Sheffield 904. It has a 6 for the capacity. There are several other stamps that are one on top of the other. I can make out Lockerby .....Glascow. There are some problems with the pot. The finial is a replacement and really too small. There is a repair (not apparent) where the handle attaches to the pot body. There is a dent in the lid and a couple of other less obvious dents. This still displays quite well.
