Lovely Framed Painting of Pansies, Local Artist, Ginger Tyler, 1973

This 16" x 20" painting is framed in a heavy ornate gilded frame making the overall measurement 22" x 26". The painting is signed Ginger Tyler '73. Another painting I purchased from this estate is signed Virginia Tyler. I assume this is the same person. I believe the painting is oil on a stretched canvas. It is possibly acrylic paints. The paints have been thinned to the appearance of layered washes. The overall look of the painting in style is much like the style of the late 1800's. It is quite well done and very attractive. The frame has one tiny spot where the gold has flaked off the gesso. The painting is in very good condition.
