This antique pewter charger measures 12" in diameter and has a wide rim (2 1/4"). The well is 1/2". The top surface is lovely with a scratch across the rim. The bottom is marked with the LONDON SUPERFINE cartouche used by many pewter makers during that time. In addition there is a maker's mark. The mark has a dome top with straight bottom. There is a rose with a crown above. There is a name in the rounded top and across the bottom. However, I cannot make out that name. So this maker of this plate is unidentified. The is a wonderful plate for the pewter collector.
