19th Century Pewter Warming Plate, James Dixon, Sheffield

This 7 3/4" warming plate may have been a child's plate. It has loop handles and a tab which opens for filling with hot water to keep the food warm. The bottom is marked James Dixon & Sons with touch marks. I had a similar one marked Sheffield. One of the handles is partially missing. Dents in the bottom.
