Antique Calling Card Case w/ Tortoise Shell & Ivory w/ MOP Inlay 1800's

In very good condition is this calling card case from the 19th Century. It is made from Tortoise Shell, Ivory, and Mother of Pearl. There is Mother of Pearl shell inlaid into the tortoise shell. The space between the top and bottom piece is accented with Ivory.

One piece of the MOP is missing. Some crazing of the shell, especially to one side of the card case, which is fairly normal considering the over 100 year old product of a natural material. There is very little crazing on the other side of the case. The hinge works well. On one side edge there is a crack that looks to have been repaired. It is still stable and displayable. The crack runs from the hinge down over half the case. The case is 4" tall by 2 5/8" wide.

I've priced this according to its condition. It isn't as bad as I make it sound but I want to be specific.

Thank you for stopping by!

The little gray card with the gentleman's name, is the calling card that came with the card case. The card case will fit today's business cards too!
