Perfume Bottle - French Commercial Ciro "Reflexions" 1933

Lightly labeled on the front of this commercial perfume bottle is "Ciro Reflexions". The French perfume bottle sits atop it stage which was part of a box and the top is gone. It is held in firmly by a wire fitting. It can be taken in and out. Looks good for display.

There is a small amount of perfume. or "Reflexions" still left in the bottle, however, it has made the glass stopper stick. WD-40 usually does the trick when it is stuck by evaporating perfume. You are able to still smell the perfume. Smells like old perfume though or grandma's perfume!

The staged perfume bottle is in great condition except for the frozen stopper.

The perfume bottle is 3" tall, including stopper, and 1 1/4" across the widest part of the bottle towards the bottom.

From 1933 and was a reflexion of the tall building being built in Chicago and New York...the Sears Building and the Empire State Building was completed in 1932 and just 6 months apart!. So you can see the shape of this bottle does have that form to it. Definitely an obvious Art Deco design. A nice benefit to still have the stage of the bottle for display.

Than you for stopping by "Time in a Bottle". We hope you will take a few minutes to check out our other vanity items such as perfume bottles, compacts, purses, mirrors and other treasures.
