Lightly labeled on the front of this commercial perfume bottle is "Ciro Reflexions". The French perfume bottle sits atop it stage which was part of a box and the top is gone. It is held in firmly by a wire fitting. It can be taken in and out. Looks good for display.
There is a small amount of perfume but it is old "parfum" The scent was named "Reflexions". The stopper is all glass and both the bottle and stopper is in excellent condition.
According to Jacquelyn Jones-North, this bottle was made by Baccarat, and there is a picture in the book with the whole box. There is no Baccarat logo, but that did not come along until 1937.
The staged perfume bottle is in great condition.
The perfume bottle is 3" tall, including stopper, and 1 1/4" across the widest part of the bottle towards the bottom.
From 1933 and was a reflexion of the tall building being built in Chicago and New York...the Sears Building and the Empire State Building was completed in 1932 and just 6 months apart!. So you can see the shape of this bottle does have that form to it. Definitely an obvious Art Deco design. A nice benefit to still have the stage of the bottle for display.
