A fantastic find is this large perfume bottle, by Raffy. It has a gorgeous Opalescent glass stopper that looks like an orb. A lovely scalloped shaped bottle makes a wonderful stage for the stunning stopper.
The stunning bottle houses the perfume "Rapsodie" by Raffy of Paris, in 1929. This is the real McCoy and not colored water. It is a Toilette. It is still wired shut. Very Regal at 8 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide.
Marcel Raffey was the founder of Raffy which was established in 1918 in Paris, and he opened another store in New York as well. I do not find any bottles from him after 1930. The depression closed down so many markets and stores.
The gold label is still on the bottle. It's a fantastic bottle. I'll let the pictures speak to the beauty. It is in excellent condition w/ only slight edge wear to the wonderful label. 50% Off!
