Vintage Pearlized LUCITE Pill Box Purse Deeply Reverse Carved Floral Top Very Roomy

This Fabulous Vintage Lucite Handbag Purse features a deeply reverse carved floral design circa 1950's in Excellent Condition! The "pill box" shape is the hardest of all the different shapes to find and I am delighted to be able to offer this beauty

- The top features a Clear Lucite, Deeply Carved Floral Design that covers 80% of the top. The beautiful cornflower yellow and white chiffon swirled Lucite colors reflect through the clear Lucite overlay!

The crystal clear carved Lucite Handle is also deeply carved and reflects the light similar to a prism. The handle is secure & moves freely. The soft and lustrous colored Lucite resembles Italian marble, with subtle striations.

The inside of this purse is as beautiful as the outside....and is in most excellent condition. Lovely silver tone hardware & a highly polished silver clasp that is inscribed with "PRESTO LOCK CO." on the underside. The clasp is in perfect working condition and snaps tightly shut!

In Amazing Excellent Condition for its age - no chips, cracks or hairlines. Free of any odors or warping....There are a few surface scratches that cannot be felt and are only visible if you are really looking for them.

Measurements: 7 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" tall (without the handle). The handle measures 5" tall.

These types of Lucite Purses were considered the height of fashion in the 1950's. They were sold only in the better department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue.
