Copper Brass Planter England 19th Century Hand Forged Gorgeous

Gorgeous 19th century hand forged and soldered copper and brass footed planter or jardiniere from England. Has been professionally polished to reveal the talented craftsmanship and beauty beneath. Heavy brass ornate handles either side with three matching brass high claw feet below. The thick copper rim and planter is shown hand seamed at one handle and on the inside with the zig zag design of joining the two.Brass seam, as is copper over brass, is seen just above the legs.Extremely sturdy and well made with beautiful patina to the metals. Large size to accommodate large plants or for holding other items such as kindling for fireplace,etc. Excellent condition. Measures 10.5H X 14L X 12D.
