Architectural Carved Panel Wall Hanging Early 1900's
Carved over-door panel early 1900s has a background in creamy camel with raised center recessed scrolled carving in antique white with bits of the wood showing from wear beneath. Framed in an elongated oval with a matching outline in antique white as well as upper coordinating trim. Originally a decorative door,tiny knob at top where the door was probably hinged at the bottom and pulled down. Wire on back for hanging. Wonderful over a mantel,sofa,as a headboard or any larger wall. Excellent condition other than the painted trim as mentioned which only adds to the aged motif. Measures 55.75L X 15.5H X 1D.Can easily be shipped Federal Express with your zip code.
