French Carved Mirror Early 1900's
Large unique French wooden mirror from the early 1900's. Wonderful shell carving with flowing ribbon on header surrounded with large bead carving below and reeded columns either side. Antique cream with darker antiquing along the carvings. Tiny bits of wood showing beneath from wear along the beautiful aged patina. The mirror can be turned either way as desired.As shown the columns form legs,turned upside down where the hangers actually are the columns form side interest to the header.Aside from topping a chest or using as a full length dressing mirror could attach to a stand as a cheval mirror. Scrolled outline with raised tulip carving at the four corners. New mirror has been installed. Excellent condition. Measures 57.5H X 29L X 2D.Can ship Federal Express with your zip code.
