"Presenting Chicken Chuck" was written by Bill and Bernard Martin. Published by Tell-Well Press, it was copyrighted 1946.
This is a barnyard-circus animal picture book with Chicken Chuck as the main character. The story tells of what happens when he swallows a vitamin and grows a brigh blue feather in the middle of his forehead. His strutting off to the circus results in fun and learning.
The book has wonderful circus end-papers and delightful illustrations throughout. This vintage book has illustrated board covers and is in good vintage condition. It has some chipping and bumping at the corners and some light lifting at the bottom of the spine. The pages are clean and the binding is tight.
A fun book for the child in all of us.
