The Machine as seen at the end of the mechanical age - Metal Binding RARE!

"The machine as seen at the end of the mechanical age" was written by K.G. Ponuts Hulten. Published by The Museum of Modern Art it was copyrighted in 1968. This fully illustrated and annotated catalogue was produced in Sweden for the exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art which ran from 25 Nov. 1968 - 9. Fer. 1969. The exhibition later moved to Houston and San Francisco.

This rare book is metal-bound, with stamped and silkscreened front and hinged covers. The heavily annotated catalogue for this exceptional exhibition is notable as well for the out of the ordinary binding.

This first edition is in excellent vintage condition. There is some oxidization on the spine. The metal is unbent and the colors are bright. The pages are clean and the binding is tight.

An exceptional book that's hard to come by.
