Doilies - Vintage Pattern Book 1955

"Doilies -- Decorative...distinctive...dramatic" is Book No. 319 in the Coats & Clark's series and is copyrighted 1955. The introduction reads, "In these days of stress and strain, it is more essential than ever to be able to relax. The tremendous popularity of "do-it-yourself" hobbies is due not only to money-saving attempts but...to the unequaled pleasure gained by creative handcrafts. ...Enjoy the leisurely hours of creation and cherish the dainty work of your hands."

Included are patterns for doilies with names like Lacy Links, Summer Shower and Pine Tree to name a few. Many of the patterns are accompanied by a black and white photo which has been tinted yellow.

This booklet is in good vintage condition. There are a few pen check marks at the title of some of the patterns and owner tried. Other than that, the pages are clean, there is no yellowing of the paper and the binding is tight.
