"Florida's Favorite Foods -- Fruits and Vegetables in the family Menu" was written by Bertha Munks, B.S., M.S., Food Chemist for the State of Florida Department of Agriculture. It was published in 1961 and is Bulletin No. 46. The Commissioner of Agriculture writes in the preface, "In response to many request from within and from without the state, this bulletin has been prepared to acquaint Florida people and people everywhere, with Florida fruits and vegetables and their nutritive value and uses in the menus."
Included are wonderful full color pictures of an array of fruits and vegetables as well as illustrations and recipes. This soft cover book is 202 pages in length and in good vintage condition. There is a stamp on the front reading, "Compliments of Zonta Club of Greater Miami". The photographic cover has some bumping at the corners and creases on the back. The inside is clean and the binding is tight.
