Hubley WWII USAF Brewster Buffalo Diecast Wingspan 1953

The first Hubley toys appeared in 1909 and were made of cast-iron, with styles that ranged from horse drawn vehicles and dogs, to tractors and guns. Household objects such as doorstops and bookends were also produced. Automobiles, trucks and airplanes later became Hubley's main focus.

This is a Hubley airplane made from the 1950's. It is die-cast zinc and is a World War II model. The yellow fuselage has a clear plastic covering over the cockpit. The green wings fold up and the landing gear retracts.

This vintage toy is in very good condition with a few chips on the paint on the wings and bottom. Over all condition is amazing for a piece this age. Wing span measures 8 1/2" front to back is 6 1/2". Plane will come in a display box with clear cover.
