Lightning Vintage Adding Machine 1940's Bakelite Stand

This vintage adding machine was made by the Lightning Adding Machine Sales Co. in Los Angeles, California. It had a stylus (not included) that you would put in the holes and dial in the number. Each time you added another number it would total the amounts. A side bar, when pulled, would reset the numbers to zero.

This instrument is in working condition. The metal "machine" sits in a dark brown bakelite base. The total piece measures 13 3/4" in length, stands 2" tall and is 4" wide. It is in very good vintage condition with some very mild scratching on the base.
