Karla Jordon Inlaid Lion Pendant wtih Black Bead Necklace

This extraordinary piece is attributable to Karla Jordon who designed jewelry in the 1970's and 80's. Her signature was inlaid pendants of various animals.

Here she has done a lions head with laminated bone and resins. The bone gives great detail to the face. The pendant is strung with black beads to make a great vintage necklace. The three strands of black beads are twisted and capped with a brass cup near the ends. A barrel clasp finishes off this necklace.

The necklace measures approximately 24" from end to end. The pendant measures 3 1/4" square. It is in good vintage condition with some light scratching on the pendant's finish.
