Royal Bayreuth Sun-Bonnet Babies Figurine Saturday Baking JAPAN

This charming, vintage Royal Bayreuth Sun Bonnet Babies Figurine titled, "Saturday Baking", features two adorable Babies in their white bonnets and aprons; one busy rolling dough on a table and the other kneeling to put bread into the gray stove which has a kettle sitting on it and a long, curved stovepipe. One girl is dressed in yellow; the other rustic red. Both have finely detailed faces with delightful expressions.

Overall height is 4"; Oval base measures 6-5/8" long by 4-1/4" wide.

In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or loss of color. Fine porcelain has a soft matte finish on all but Babies' white aprons which have a soft gloss glaze.

Marked on bottom of base, "Sun-Bonnet Babies, Royal Bayreuth Designs, with their logo, and "Saturday Samstag Baking". There is also a tiny oval blue and white "Made in Japan" sticker.

A lovely vintage Royal Bayreuth piece ~ Very collectible and adorable too!
