SHOP OWNER'S NOTE: Curiosity sent me to research what I thought was a Dutch windmill would be located on a street scene in Paris! Here are my condensed Internet findings, for anyone who is also interested: "The Moulin de la Galette Windmill was built in 1622 and is situated near the top of the district of Montmartre in Paris along with associated businesses. In the past, Montmartre was covered in windmills. An association Friends of Old Montmartre saved it from destruction in 1915. In 1924, its owner moved the windmill to the corner of Girardon and Lepic streets. It was restored in 1978, but is not running. The windmill has been classified as a monument since 1939." So, now I understand why a windmill is in Paris!
