Vintage Special Edition MIB Native American Barbie, #1753 from Mattel's Dolls of the World Collection dated 1992. Her outfit is "Inspired by the traditional dress of the first Americans!" according to the original box. Box has info on Native Americans on back panel with graphics of a Native headdress, teepee and campfire, and children in buckskin playing the old-fashioned ring game.
MINT IN BOX Condition! Original box has been opened, but doll nor accessories have ever had ties removed that are attached to bright yellow cardboard box liner. Box is in very good vintage condition; has a small tear in the cardboard and clear plastic at top on one side. Otherwise, is clean and has minimal wear.
Barbie's skin is slightly more tanned and she has long, black/brown hair, partially in braids. She has pretty brown eyes accented with blue eye shadow, coral lip color, and is wearing long silver-tone and turquoise earrings, with matching silver-tone bangle bracelet and ring.
Her creamy white fringed dress accented is with silver-tone metallic loop fringe and long creamy white fringe, turquoise beads and coral and turquoise Native designs. Small dress fabric bag hangs from her neck by a thin satin ribbon; bag has coral and turquoise Native design and silver-tone metallic loop fringe.
Knee-high boots appear to be made of fabric and have turquoise stitching. A small turquoise plastic hairbrush and a white plastic 2-piece doll stand is included.
Box measures 12-7/8 inches tall by 6-5/8 inches wide by 2-3/8 inches deep.
