Three Scottie Dogs Planter, Japan Lusterware

This unique vintage planter has three adorable brown and white Scottie dogs on the front; two large on each side with a little puppy sitting in the middle. The three dogs are sitting in front of a square box shaped planter that has a 1-5/8 by 1-1/2 opening and is lusterware glazed with light grain markings to resemble wood and "JAPAN" is imprinted on the back. The planter is 4-3/8 inches wide; 3 inches tall overall, measured from top of dogs' ears, (planter is 2-3/8 inches tall), and 2-3/4 inches deep.

In excellent condition with no cracks, chips or crazing and minimal surface ware. The bottom of the planter is unglazed bisque and has "Made in Japan" stamped in red. Nice addition for a Scottie collection! Would make a unique desk accessory too!
