McNicol China Restaurant Ware Salad Plates "Bethany"
This pair of vintage restaurant ware salad plates made by McNicol China is made of heavy solid white china with a thin cobalt blue border band on its rim and in the center of the curved outside. The cobalt blue "Bethany" written in Olde English lettering is most likely the restaurant, or perhaps a cruise line McNicol China made the dinnerware made for. Can't find info about "Bethany"; perhaps you know? I did find that McNicol China made products in their Clarksburg, W. Va. location from 1914 - 1969, so these plates are at least 42 years old!
In most excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing and minor surface wear and m8-3/8 inches diameter. Marked on the back in black, "McNicol China, Clarksburg, W. Va., X 109". Perfect for those who collect restaurant ware! Price is for both salad plates.
