This vintage full color postcard is titled, "Lincoln Memorial and Japanese Cherry Blossoms, Washington, DC", and is postmarked 1927. Also numbered "20745" in the front lower left corner of scene. In excellent condition with no surface wear and slightly bumped corners; nice coloring on the scenic view of the famous Lincoln Memorial, reflected on the water in the foreground, looking through branches of the beautiful Japanese Cherry Blossoms that Washington is known for during the Spring season.
Divided back reads, "Lincoln Memorial and Japanese Cherry Blossoms, Washington, DC. The Lincoln Memorial, modeled after a classic Greek Temple, is situated on a eminence in Potomac Park on the banks of the Potomac River. From the far side of the Tidal Basin, the view as pictured here is very beautiful and attractive especially in the early Spring when the Japanese Cherry Trees are in bloom"
Marked, "Published by B.S. Reynolds Co., Washington, DC" and "Made in USA, with a small logo with an "M" in a pot of paint brushes.
