Here is a colorful quality handmade vintage pillow with a darling girl with parasol / umbrella quilt pattern, hand appliqued in black embroidery thread on its off white cotton front. Her arms, feet, and parts of the parasol are hand embroidered in black thread as well. Pillow has a colorful calico floral print ruffle all around its edge that has colors of orange, blue, yellow flowers with green leaves. Girl wears matching bonnet and pantaloons with a coordinating solid orange dress and parasol. Back of pillow is matching solid orange and made so that the white muslin stuffed pillow form can be removed for cleaning both pieces. Pillow measures 13-1/2 inches square and is in excellent condition with no holes or loose seams. This is an estate item and has been stored since the late 1980's so may need light cleaning to refresh, but it isn't soiled and comes from a non-smoking home. So pretty to use as a decorative sofa or bed pillow! Looks nice with vintage country or antique decor!
