This vintage, footed, white porcelain vase has a lovely floral bouquet center design in delicate colors of pink, blue, and yellow with individual flowers in matching colors scattered on both sides. Floral designs are outlined in reddish brown, typical for some Japanese porcelain painters. Gold edge banding and accents on raised/embossed design on foot of vase gives it an elegant appearance. Triangular shaped solid base has a scrolled design on 3 open cut "legs" and the vase has a conical shape overall.
Measures 6 inches tall; 4 inches diameter at opening; triangle base is 3-1/2 inches wide.
Marked in red: "Handpainted Made in Japan" and has "T T" in two diamond shapes indicates the vase was made by The Takito Company, Japan (1880-1948). This mark dates the piece to probably the late 1920's to early 1930's when this type of ware was mostly in vogue.
