This sweet couple figural planter has such lovely and unique coloring in shades of white, deep rose and yellow and is molded pottery with fine details. Facial features are defined as they pose in their finest attire - she in full long yellow dress and bonnet with blonde curled hair and him in white top hat and tails. Both cute faces have large Kewpie-like eyes and tinted cheeks and lips.The planter behind the couple is molded to resemble a tree and there is a heart with an arrow "carved" on the side - too sweet! Planter measures 3-3/4" wide by 4-3/8" tall. Most likely made in the 1940-50's but is unmarked as to maker. Measures 7" tall and 4-1/4" wide and is in near mint condition with no cracks and very slight crazing on his top hat,. A nice collectors item or sweet vintage wedding gift!
