1920s Noritake Savona Pattern Covered Vegetable Bowl Japan

Circa 1921, this beautiful vintage porcelain Noritake Covered Oval Vegetable Bowl in the long ago discontinued pattern, "Savona" #68470, with designs of blue ribbons, yellow scrolls and pink roses with gold accents. Both the handles on the vegetable bowl and lid are accented in gold as well.

In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing; gold trim to handles has wear but, in my opinion, is acceptable for a piece of this age - nearing 100 years! And, gold trim may be professionally repainted if desired.

Covered vegetable bowl measures 11-1/4" long from handle to handle, 2-3/4" deep and is 7-1/2" wide. With cover / lid on, it measures 5-1/2" tall.

Bottom is marked, "Noritake, "M" the leaf garland logo, Made In Japan, Savona". The "M in a wreath" mark was used by Noritake between 1914 - 1940.
