In Excellent Condition, these two Au Gratin bowls are in the Pfaltzgraff Village Pattern from the 1960's and 70's. The buttery background color of the heavy pottery offers chocolate brown trim and a stylized tulip design. Both of these are marked USA and bear the Pfaltzgraff name and logo. The larger dish is slightly lighter in color and measures 11 5/8" from tip to tip. It has a 22 oz. capacity and is marked with the number 270. The larger dish is marked for the Oven and Microwave and though the smaller is not marked that way, as an Au Gratin dish it would seem to be safe for the same use. The smaller dish is 16 oz., numbered 265, and measures 9 3/4" long. Though this pattern was prone to crazing, none is found on either bowl. These are also free of nicks, chips or cracks.
This is heavy, substantial pottery and the shipping charges reflect the weight. Please see other items in this pattern also in this shop!
